A study has shown that a probiotic mixture containing *Bacillus subtilis*, *B. pumilus*, and *B. licheniformis* suppresses *Vibrio* and *Acinetobacter* bacteria and increases beneficial taxa such as *Kocuria* in sea bream, thereby improving epithelial integrity and growth efficiency in rapidly growing individuals. However, the mixture also increased *Staphylococcus* levels and led to growth retardation in control groups.
