Previous themes reveal the negative experiences of high-quality ethnic minority employees facing selective incivility and their coping responses to these acts. In contrast, this theme reveals the process by which participants move beyond the negative consequences of selective incivility to restructure their experiences and perceive their identities more resiliently. This transformation is shaped by strengthening their ethnic identities, creating space within the organization (Theme 0), and deepening their organizational identification through social integration (Theme 0). Thus, this theme departs from the limiting aspects of previous themes, demonstrating how selective incivility contributes to the reframing of organizational identification and a more positive sense of identity.
